Cancelling a payment

Follow these steps to reverse a transaction quickly and handle customer requests with ease.

There are two methods to cancelling transactions

Method 1 - Cancelling the last transaction

  • Tap cancellation from the main screen
  • Enter your supervisor code when asked, if you do not know this, you can find it within your customer portal under Products.
  • A pop-up will show the last transaction performed, is this is the correct payment to be reversed, click “yes”.
  • The cancellation will be performed and a confirmation will be displayed.
  • You can generate a printed or email receipt if needed for the customer.
  • The screen will then return to the main page, ready for your next transaction.

Method 2 - Cancelling from the terminal’s transaction history.

  • From the main screen, tap “transactions”
  • Find the transaction you’d like to cancel and select it. Only transactions from the current day can be cancelled, for anything older a refund should be performed.
  • At the bottom of the transaction details screen, select “Cancel transaction”
  • Enter your supervisor code when asked, if you do not know this, you can find it within your customer portal under Products.
  • A pop-up will ask you if you want to proceed, click “yes”.
  • The cancellation will be performed and a confirmation will be displayed.
  • You can generate a printed or email receipt if needed for the customer.
  • The screen will then return to the main page, ready for your next transaction.
