Our redesigned Virtual Terminal 2.0 is an online, browser‑based tool that allows businesses to process card‑not‑present payments, such as telephone orders (also known as MOTO transactions).
You can use the Virtual Terminal on any computer, tablet, or smartphone. All you need is an internet connection.
The Virtual Terminal also allows you to carry out a range of additional actions and transaction types, including:
- Issuing refunds
- Voiding transactions
- Pre‑authorisations
- Completions (also known as captures)
- Running reports
- Creating payment links
- Customising the checkout page your customers see
- And more.

Can I add or manage users?
Yes.
Users with administrative permissions can add and manage users within the Manage Users section of the Virtual Terminal.
How do I void or refund a transaction?
You can find more information on how to void and refund payments here.
What should I do if a card is declined? (e.g. Understanding response or error codes)
We provide a list of Response Codes that you can use to understand the most common reasons for payment declines.
You can view the specific response for any transaction by opening the transaction details and checking the “Approval Code”.
For example:
N:51 – Insufficient funds.
Can I set up recurring billing or subscription payments in the Virtual Terminal?
Yes.
