Is FreeAgent really free for NatWest business account customers?*
FreeAgent is free for all our business bank account customers. If you already pay for FreeAgent, you can switch to a free account* by adding your NatWest details to your Banking tab, saving between £50 per year (ex VAT) for a landlord account and £330 per year (ex VAT) for a Limited company.**

*FreeAgent is free as long as you retain your bank account. Optional add-ons may be chargeable.
**Saving is dependent on business type, payment frequency and introductory discounts for direct customers. Saving is based on the pricing range from the lowest annual price for landlords with year-one discount applied to the highest annualised price for limited companies paying monthly with no year-one discount applied. What do I need to get started with FreeAgent?
It’s easy to get started with FreeAgent. You’ll need to know your business details and some opening financial figures. If your business is VAT-registered, you’ll need your VAT registration information. FreeAgent is fully committed to protecting your personal and financial data, using multiple layers of security.
What if I already have an accountant or bookkeeper?
FreeAgent allows you to work seamlessly with your accountant or bookkeeper. It is free to add them as a user on your account. As FreeAgent automates many basic bookkeeping tasks, it gives your advisor more time to focus their expertise on your business’s performance. As information in FreeAgent is updated in real time, it makes it easier for you and your advisor to spot and fix potential issues.
Can I link my Tyl account to Freeagent?
Yes. You can link your Tyl account to Freeagent so that any invoices generated in Freeagent can be paid by card. More information on how to do this is below.
